HYDROKINETIC TECHNOLOGY

Emerging Energies uses a 4–bladed fixed pitch turbine that we developed with experimentation and studying the effects of hydrofoil on lifts. Essentially, our hydrofoil blades convert the lift as in horizontal blades in air to a rotational energy in water. The turbine drives an integrated electrical generator assembly. The water flows through the turbines and the supporting structure accommodates the drive train couplers and generators above the water level. The top of the structure serves as a platform for servicing the turbines.

In our technology the emphasis is on the flow or the velocity of the water. Our zero head technology converts the latent kinetic energy into electricity.
